Michelle Oblak DVM, DVSc, ACVS

Dr Michelle Oblak is a graduate of the Ontario Veterinary College where she also completed a rotating internship and combined Residency/ Doctor of Veterinary Science (DVSc) in Small Animal Surgery. Following the completion of her DVSc, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Florida where she received designation as an ACVS Fellow, Surgical Oncology. Michelle is currently an Assistant Professor of Soft Tissue and Oncologic Surgery in the Department of Clinical Studies, Ontario Veterinary College. Her primary goal is to enhance the quality of life and care in veterinary cancer patients by providing patient-centred plans that integrate multiple modalities for optimal treatment. As a member of the soft tissue surgery service, her role not only includes offering advanced surgical procedures for pets with cancer, she also performs basic and advanced soft tissue and neurologic surgery and has an interest in minimally invasive surgical options for companion animals.
