Michelle has been a Diabetes educator for 18 years and enjoys the complexities of the patients she sees. She completed her Graduate certificate in Diabetes Education and Management at UTS in 2008 and has worked as a Diabetes Educator at the John Hunter Hospital and in the Greater Newcastle Sector-Diabetes Service. Michelle specialises in Type 1 Diabetes and the technology associated with Diabetes management such as Insulin Pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitoring. Michelle is actively involved in research projects and has successfully co-authored. She has been instrumental in developing new Clinic Models to address the growing demand in the Diabetes clinics.
