Michelle Issac MD

Michelle M. Issac, M.D., is a palliative care physician at Miami Cancer Institute. Dr. Issac treats patients of all ages who have serious illnesses, including conditions that are curable, chronic, or life-limiting. She works with patients to improve their quality of life and reduce their pain levels.

Dr. Issac joined Miami Cancer Institute after completing a hospice and palliative care medicine fellowship at New York University School of Medicine in New York City. Dr. Issac’s goal when working with patients is to build a relationship and ensure their voices are heard. She focuses on understanding their desires and wishes and does everything possible to fulfill their goals. She is a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and the Center to Advance Palliative Care.
