Dr. Michelle Drerup, PsyD, DBSM, FSBSM, is Director of Education and Behavioral Sleep Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Sleep Disorders Center and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. A board-certified behavioral sleep medicine psychologist, she specializes in the evaluation and treatment of insomnia, circadian rhythm disorders, sleep apnea, and other sleep-related conditions, with expertise in cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I).
Dr. Drerup earned her undergraduate degree from Bowling Green State University before completing her graduate education in psychology and clinical psychology at Indiana State University. She completed her internship at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cincinnati and a fellowship in health psychology at Cleveland Clinic. She is board-certified in Behavioral Sleep Medicine and is a Diplomate of the Board of Behavioral Sleep Medicine, where she has also served as Past President and a member of the Board of Directors.
