Dr. Hure is board certified in both Anatomic Pathology and Dermatopathology and specializes in Dermatopathology as the Director of the Department of Pathology. She graduated from the University of California, Davis with undergraduate degrees in Biological Sciences and Political Science and a master’s degree in Comparative Pathology. While attending medical school at Ross University, she undertook many leadership roles including class representative and helping to establish a charity community health clinic. After graduating with high honors, Dr. Hure completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Yale-New Haven-affiliated Saint Mary’s Hospital.
She then completed an Anatomic Pathology residency at the University of Massachusetts, where she served as chief resident. She stayed on at the University of Massachusetts as a fellow in dermatopathology, enjoying comprehensive training in both dermatology and dermatopathology and fostering her research interests in pigmented lesions and non-melanoma skin cancer.
Dr. Hure has authored peer-reviewed articles, a book chapter and presented her research at national meetings of the American Society of Dermatopathology and the United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, skiing cooking, photography, and playing tennis.
