Michelle is an experienced and dedicated health leader, specialising in developing and implementing processes, programmes, and initiatives to meet critical healthcare challenges. She utilises extensive knowledge of distribution processes, vaccines, medicines, and health issues to provide advice and counselling to governmental and medical leadership.

Her experience includes contract management, logistics outsourcing, ERP implementation and quality improvement within the public health sector. She is currently working in Cold Chain and Logistics for UNICEF Nigeria in Abuja, leading a team of logisticians across 37 states and 6 zonal cold stores. Previously, Michelle worked with the Clinton Health Access Initiative in Malawi and with the Department of Health in the Western Cape in cold chain management & supply chain management. She has also worked as a pharmacist in southern Africa. Michelle is currently working towards her PhD from the UGSM Monarch Business School in Switzerland (expected in 2018), and she received an MBA from Stellenbosch University in 2012, and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from Rhodes University in 2003.
