Michele De Simone MD

Michele De Simone is a surgical oncologist based out of Italy. He obtained his Degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1977 with cum laude honors and thereafter became a specialist in General Surgery, Thoracic Pulmonary Surgery, and Vascular Surgery in Turin and Milano. Dr. De Simone is the Director of Surgery Department at U.O.C., and Director of Surgical Oncology at the Candiolo Cancer Institute IRCCS, which is a non-profit institution founded by the Piedmont Foundation for Cancer Research-Onlus (FPRC) and operated by the Piedmont Foundation for Oncology (FPO), in alliance with the University of Torino.

Dr. De Simone is considered to be one of the experts at the National and International level in therapy of metastatic peritoneal disease and Surgical Oncology Complex including colorectal neoplasia. He has gained great acceptance from many around the world for his knowledge in modern surgical techniques for cancer, such as hyperthermia.
