Michel Gerard Baum MD

Dr. Michel Baum received his BS and MD degrees from the University of California at Los Angeles, USA. He performed his internship and residency at Yale University School of Medicine and his fellowship in nephrology at the University of California at San Francisco, USA, where he was a research fellow at the Cardiovascular Research Institute. Since completion of his fellowship he has been at the University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center and Children’s Medical Center of Dallas.

He is currently Professor of Pediatrics and Internal Medicine and Director of Pediatric Nephrology. He also holds the Sara M. and Charles E. Seay Chair in Pediatric Research. He is a member of a number of national societies including the American Society for Clinical Investigation, the Association of American Physicians, the Society for Pediatric Research, and the American Society of Nephrology and International Pediatric Nephrology Association
