Michalis Chrysostomou MD

Dr. Michalis Chrysostomou, MD, is an experienced obstetrician-gynecologist and fertility specialist based in Cyprus, with expertise in assisted reproduction, advanced endoscopic surgery, and aesthetic gynecology. He is an active member of the American Urogynecologic Society leadership community and has contributed to advancing women’s health both clinically and through professional engagement.

Dr. Chrysostomou earned his medical degree from the University of Göttingen in Germany and completed his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Alexandra Hospital in Athens, Greece. He further pursued subspecialty training in in vitro fertilization (IVF) at King’s College Hospital, gaining expertise in assisted reproductive technologies.

Since the mid-1990s, he has played a leading role in reproductive medicine in Cyprus. He is the Founder and CEO of IASO IVF Reproductive Centre, where he focuses on fertility treatments and innovative reproductive techniques. In addition, he is the founder and chairman of Evangelismos Private Hospital in Paphos, contributing to the development of advanced clinical services in the region.

Dr. Chrysostomou has also pursued additional training in aesthetic gynecology through the European College of Aesthetic Medicine, reflecting his commitment to expanding the scope of women’s health services. He is a member of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, participating in international scientific meetings and staying at the forefront of developments in reproductive medicine.
