Michal Brzezinski MD, PhD

Michal Brzezinski is a Graduate of the Gdańsk Medical University and post-graduate studies at the Gdańsk School of Banking and the Academy of Physical Education and Sport in Gdańsk. He is an assistant professor at the Department of Paediatrics, Gastroenterology, Allergology, and Paediatric Nutrition (since III.2020) and Department of Public Health and Social Medicine GUMed (till III. 2020). He is a Research scholar at the Clinical Nutrition Research Center at the IIT in Chicago, Illinois, USA (VI-XII.2018).

He is Chairman of the Communal Commission for Solving Alcohol Problems in Gdańsk, member of the Gdansk Public Health Council. In 2015-2016, deputy director for medical matters of the National Health Fund, regional branch in Gdańsk. In 2016-2017, an expert to the Ministry of Health in the field of pediatric health needs maps. An expert in public and private institutions, among others World Bank, World Health Organization, Medicover Foundation, and "School of Leaders" Foundation. Author of numerous self-government health policy programs and health strategies for local government units.
