Michael has more than 20 years of experience in health economic analysis, with a particular emphasis on simulation modeling in a broad range of disease areas. Diabetes is a particular area of competence, where Michael is one of the creators of the Economics and Health Outcomes Model of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (ECHO-T2DM) model and an organizing member of the Mt. Hood Challenges for the validation of health-economic models in diabetes.
