Michael Vohrer MD

Dr. Michael graduated as a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Homburg/Saar, Germany. He started his residency from 1996 to 2000 in the Department for Pediatric Orthopaedics at the Seepark Klinik/ Langen-Debstedt near Bremerhaven,Germany. Following two years residency in the Department of Traumatology, Hand Surgery, Reconstructive and Plastic Surgery at the Diakoniekrankenhaus Schwäbisch Hall,Germany he continued his work at the Orthopaedic University Hospital Mainz, Germany from 2002 to 2004. Here he established a Ponseti clubfoot clinic, built up the pediatric hip screening and focused on pediatric orthopaedic surgery besides his work in general orthopaedics and foot surgery.

In 2007 Dr. Michael was appointed consultant for pediatric orthopaedics and foot surgery at the Department for Orthopaedics and Traumatology. Pediatric Orthopaedics, Disabled Surgery and Foot Surgery at the University Hospital Freiburg, Germany. In April 2013, Dr Michael moved to Dubai. In addition to his medical activities Dr. Michael was instructor and lecturer at the University Hospital Mainz and at several Nursing and Physiotherapy schools in Debstedt/ Bremerhaven, Mainz and Freiburg, Germany.
