Professor Michael Stowasser has special interests in a careful assessment of the severity of hypertension including home and ambulatory monitoring and investigations seeking evidence of cardiovascular and renal target organ damage; diagnosis and management of secondary, endocrine forms of hypertension including primary aldosteronism, renovascular hypertension, and phaeochromocytoma; management of resistant hypertension; investigation and management of adrenal mass lesions.
