Michael Spraque MD

Dr. Michael S. Sprague was born in Clinton, Illinois. He received his Bachelor's degree in biology from Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Illinois where he graduated with honors. He attended medical school at St. Louis University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honorary society and was named the outstanding student in the Obstetrics and Gynecology. He completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University Hospitals.

Dr. Sprague entered private practice in Columbus, Ohio in 1982, and joined with Dr. Russ to form Northeast Obstetricians and Gynecologists in 1989. Dr. Sprague is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a member of the Columbus Ob/GYN Society and the Columbus Medical Association. He is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of OB/GYN at The Ohio State University Hospitals. He is a Past Chairman of the Department of OB/GYN at Grant Medical Center. He is currently the Director of Women's Health at Grant.

Dr. Sprague is an experienced obstetrician and an accomplished gynecologic surgeon performing routine and complex obstetric and gynecologic procedures.

Dr. Sprague and his wife Beth live in Worthington and have two children, Katie and Ryan.
