Michael Shapiro DMD, MS

Dr. Michael Shapiro was born and raised in Calgary, Canada and completed his undergraduate dental training at the University of Manitoba in 1999. He continued his education, completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Michigan in 2000, after which he taught restorative dentistry.

Dr. Shapiro practiced full-time comprehensive general dentistry until 2013 when his passion for endodontics led him to pursue specialty training in the University of Michigan graduate endodontics program. Dr. Shapiro continues to teach part-time, both at the undergraduate and graduate level, is an Active Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontists, and is involved in several different dental societies.
