Michael Schweigert MD

Prof. Dr. Medical On May 15, Michael Schweigert was appointed professor at the University of Lübeck for thoracic surgery with a focus on robotic thoracic surgery. He is taking on the newly created professorship as head of the thoracic surgery department in the Surgery Clinic at the Schleswig-Holstein University Hospital, Lübeck Campus. Prof. Schweigert is moving from the Dresden University Hospital to Lübeck. After studying medicine at the University of Erlangen and in Savannah (USA), further stations in his professional and academic career included the Nuremberg Clinic and the Salzburg University Clinic.
