Michael Roberts BS, MSEd, PhD

Michael D Roberts is an Associate Professor in the School of Kinesiology at Auburn University. He serves as the Director of the Molecular and Applied Sciences Laboratory (MASL) as well as the Applied Physiology Laboratory (APL). His laboratory examines how exercise and nutrition affect variables related to health outcomes and athletic performance. Current interests include protein supplementation (in collaboration with Dr. Chris Lockwood), body composition assessment (in collaboration with Dr. Jordan Moon), and the molecular effects of exercise training within skeletal muscle. Dr. Roberts has ongoing collaborations with members of the Via College of Osteopathic Medicine - Auburn Campus, as well as Auburn's Harrison School of Pharmacy and College of Veterinary Medicine.
