Michael Rigby MB ChB, FRCP, FRPCH, MD

Dr. Michael Rigby is Consultant Pediatric Cardiologist, teacher, researcher, and writer at the Royal Brompton Hospital, London. He has knowledge, experience, and expertise in most areas of heart disease in the young and a special interest in interventional cardiac catheterization in congenital heart disease in children and adults. Prior to his current appointment, he trained in cardiology not only in London but also in Leeds, Birmingham Children’s Hospital, John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, and the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto.

He has organized annual courses in neonatal and infant heart disease and in echocardiography in congenital heart disease. He has lectured, taught, or organized courses not only in the UK but also in many other countries including Germany, France, Switzerland, Greece, Cyprus, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Singapore, Japan, the Philippines, the United States, Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
