Michael R. Marks MD, MBA

Dr. Michael R. Marks has more than 14 years of experience as a physician executive in multiple settings. He received his MBA from the University of Tennessee in 2001 while continuing to practice spine surgery and orthopaedics full time.
Currently he is the President of Marks Healthcare Consulting providing comprehensive services assisting individuals and organizations with the clinical and business side of the healthcare delivery system. He focuses upon business development, hospital and physician practice operations and practice management services. Dr. Marks has experience with addressing patient wellness, retail health clinics and marketing. He is skillful with understanding hospital and physician engagements and their legal agreements. He is knowledgeable in process improvement utilizing LEAN tools and incorporating quality metrics, coding and EMR implementation in physician practices.
