Michael Nathenson MD

Dr. Michael Jason Nathenson, MD joined the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in July 2016 out of a deep commitment to advancing sarcoma treatment. He is board certified in both hematology and oncology and he completed a sarcoma medical oncology fellowship exclusively focusing on the various subtypes of bone and soft tissue sarcomas at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. Throughout his training, he gained clinical experience at some of the leading cancer treatment centers in the nation, the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Maryland, and MD Anderson in Texas, and he is delighted to make Dana-Farber my professional home. Having lost his mother to uterine adenosarcoma when he was a teenager, he is devoted to expert treatment, cutting-edge research, and compassionate patient care. At Dana-Farber, have primarily focused on direct clinical patient care, clinical research, development and conducting clinical trials, and teaching and supervising medical students, interns, residents, and fellows.
