Michael N. Patlas MD, FRCPC, FCAR, FSAR

Michael N. Patlas, MD, FRCPC is the Emergency/Trauma Division Chief and Professor of Radiology at the McMaster University and Hamilton Health Sciences. His main research interests include imaging of traumatic and nontraumatic abdominal emergencies. Dr. Patlas received multiple awards for his academic and clinical work including the Young Investigator Award from the Canadian Association of Radiologists and Medical Staff Association President’s Award for Distinguished Service. He is a member of the Scientific Program Committee of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the American Society of Emergency Radiology, and the Canadian Association of Radiologists. Dr. Patlas also serves as Associate Editor for the Annals of Clinical Laboratory Science and is a reviewer for 8 additional journals.
