Michael N. Dubroff DO, FACOP

Dr. Dubroff has been at Genentech for six years in various roles. He is currently the Sr. Director for Payer Support, Genentech Medical Affairs, and leads the Managed Care Liaison team, who are the science interface with managed care customers. In his previous roles at Genentech he had responsibility for various field-based teams engaged in contracting, distribution, and business relationships. These included wholesalers, specialty pharmacies, prescription benefit managers, group purchasing organizations, hospital systems, oncology national and government accounts. Prior to Genentech, he was the Vice President for Health Excellence Partners at Highmark Blue Cross/Blue Shied with responsibility for two departments. They were Health Excellence Partners, a clinical delivery unit, and Clinical Client Relationships, a profiling and outcomes unit for employers. Before Highmark, Michael was a National Medical Director at GlaxoSmithKline and a Senior Medical Director at Blue Cross of Philadelphia.

Dr. Dubroff received his training in Philadelphia beginning with LaSalle College. After receiving a BA from LaSalle College, a Doctor of Osteopathy from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, a Pediatric Residency at Hahnemann Medical College and Hospital, and a Fellowship in Pediatric Rehabilitation from St. Christopher’s Hospital, he practiced general pediatrics and took care of handicapped children. Michael is a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Pediatricians. He was Vice President of Pediatric Associates in southeastern Pennsylvania during his clinical years. He resides in San Francisco, California.
