Dr. Michael Malinzak completed fellowships in Interventional Radiology and Neuroradiology before joining the Duke University Neuroradiology faculty in 2017. His primary clinical interests are in pediatric neuroradiology, neuro-oncology, and CT-guided spine intervention. He is a committed educator and the incumbent Duke Neuroradiology Fellowship Director.
His research interests include the imaging assessment of pediatric CSF pressure disorders, as well as the diagnosis and treatment of spontaneous intracranial hypotension. He is one of four physician members of the Duke Spinal CSF Leak Service, which provides care to hundreds of patients with suspected CSF pressure disorders annually.
