M. Jason Penrod MD is a clinical assitant professor at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics. As a General Internist, his clinical interests include hypertension, musculoskeletal problems, and preventative medicine. Dr. Penrod received his degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Utah. He has been in the past a medical scholar at the University of Utah. He is currently a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. His research interests include hypertension and sleep apnea, as well as obesity.
