Dr. Henehan is the Director of the San Jose-O’Connor Hospital/Stanford Affiliated Sports Medicine Fellowship Program. He is also a teaching faculty member in the Sports Medicine Clinic. Dr. Henehan is a graduate of the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (1980) and the San Jose Medical Center Family Practice Residency Program (1985). He is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and has a Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in Sports Medicine through the American Board of Family Practice (1993). Dr. Henehan has special expertise in orthopedic and sports medicine. He is a team physician for San Jose State University (various sports) and the San Jose “Earthquakes” (professional soccer team).
