Dr. Michael Bronson is the Chairman of Orthopedics at Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai St. Luke's. He came to Mount Sinai in 2004 as an Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery, and Director of the Joint Replacement Service. He received his M.D. from New York Medical College, and completed his surgical internship and orthopedic residency at Lenox Hill Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital.
He was the Senior Annie C. Kane Fellow in hip and knee surgery at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center under the training of Dr. Frank Stinchfield and Dr. Nas Eftekhar. He then joined the faculty at Lenox Hill Hospital where he remained for 23 years before coming to Mount Sinai.
