Michael H. Kanter BS, MD

Michael Kanter, MD, serves as executive vice president of Quality and chief quality officer for The Permanente Federation, and is also the medical director of Quality and Clinical Analysis for the Southern California Permanente Medical Group. As a member of the Federation’s National Permanente Leadership Team, he has oversight over the Federation’s quality care function and the Care Management Institute. He is also associate dean of Quality Science for the Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine.
