Michael Dienst MD

Dr. Michael Dienst, MD is a Senior Physician at the OCM Orthopedic Surgery in Munich. His interest in hip surgery developed during his training as a specialist in orthopedics at the end of the 1990s. In the last 20 years, he has contributed nationally and internationally to the development of hip-sparing arthroscopic and open surgery, in lectures, scientific journal and book contributions, as an instructor in courses and workshops, with the development of surgical instruments, and in live surgeries.

Prof. Dienst is a founding and board member of the ISHA and was active for many years as a board member and in the hip committee of the AGA. His range of operations includes the entire operative hip surgery from minimally invasive arthroscopic keyhole surgery and open conversion operations to minimally invasive joint replacement and complex replacement surgery on the hip joint.
