Michael Golenhofen PhD

Dr. Michael Golenhofen is a board-certified ENT Physician and Chief Executive Officer at Tinni-Care. He finished medical school at the University of Mainz with a Ph.D. in clinical immunology. After 1 1/2 years of the immunological lab, he specialized in general family practice and Ear-Nose and Throat medicine in Heidelberg/ Germany and Offenburg. In 1988, he intensively studied naturopathy, homeopathy, osteopathy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine elaborating a common basic principle, which can be found in all different ancient medical traditions. From 1999 until 2003 he integrated the spiritual aspect of native american and hawaiian shamanic traditions. The result of these studies was an integral concept, combining both modern scientific medical research and ancient healing traditions for the treatment of ear-nose and throat disorders. In the 4myEar-tinnitus-center this concept has been specifically adapted for the treatment of tinnitus, Menieres disease, hyperacusis and sudden hearing loss.
