Michael Gnant MD

Michael Gnant is a professor of surgery at the Medical University of Vienna in Vienna, Austria, and he is the President of the Austrian Breast and Colorectal Cancer Study Group that conducted the ABCSG-18 trial. At this year’s ASCO, he was privileged to have the opportunity to present the long-term outcome data of ABCSG-18. That's a prospective, randomized trial of adjuvant denosumab for postmenopausal patients with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer, who are treated with aromatase inhibitors.
