Michael Feldman MD

Dr. Michael J. Feldman, MD, is a highly experienced plastic and reconstructive surgeon practicing with VCU Health in Richmond, Virginia. He serves in the Department of Surgery with a specialized focus on complex reconstructive procedures and burn care. Dr. Feldman earned his medical degree from the VCU School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency training at VCU Medical Center. He further advanced his surgical training with a fellowship at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, where he gained additional expertise in reconstructive techniques.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Feldman serves as a Professor of Surgery and is the Medical Director of the Evans-Haynes Burn Center at VCU, where he oversees multidisciplinary care for patients with severe burn injuries. He also holds the B.W. Haynes Jr. Professorship in General and Trauma Surgery and has been involved in leadership roles within the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, including serving as Interim Division Chief. Dr. Feldman is board-certified in Plastic Surgery and is affiliated with VCU Medical Center and other regional hospitals. He has been recognized among the top doctors in his specialty and contributes to both clinical care and surgical education in his field.
