Michael E. Schatman PhD, CPE, DASPE

Michael E. Schatman, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist who has spent the past 32 years working in multidisciplinary chronic pain management. He is currently on the teaching faculty of the Department of Public Health & Community Medicine at the Tufts University School of Medicine in Massachusetts and serves as director of Research and Network Development for Boston Pain Care in Waltham, MA. Dr. Schatman has authored more than 100 journal articles and book chapters on chronic pain management and lectures regularly at the international level. He has served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Pain Research for the past five years
