Michael D. Robek PhD

Dr. Michael Robek is a Professor in the Department of Immunology & Microbial Disease at Albany Medical College, Albany, NY. He received his Ph.D. degree in Molecular Microbiology and Microbial Pathogenesis from Washington University in St. Louis, he carried out his postdoctoral research at The Scripps Research Institute, where he studied the immune response to hepatitis B virus (HBV). His research interests are Molecular Virology, Hepatocellular Carcinoma, Viral Immunology, Vaccine Development, Virus Replication, Antiviral Immunity, Hepatitis C Virus, Hepatitis B Virus.
