Michael D. Pugh MPH

Mr. Pugh has over thirty years of CEO experience working in hospitals, healthcare systems, managed care organizations, consulting, and healthcare service companies. He is a frequent speaker at regional and national conferences on subjects of leadership, governance, strategy, and quality and is an internationally known advisor and consultant to healthcare provider organizations, payer organizations, and government agencies focusing on issues of quality, performance, strategy, and governance. Mr. Pugh holds a bachelor of science in health care administration and a master of public health from Tulane University and is the author of multiple articles and book chapters on quality and governance. He currently teaches Healthcare Quality and Outcomes for the campus health administration program.
