Michel D. Landry PT, PhD, is Chief of the Doctor of Physical Therapy Division. He is also an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (HPME), at the University of Toronto.Prior to receiving his doctoral degree in HPME at the University of Toronto, he held clinical and senior management positions within the private rehabilitation sector in Ontario, and within international humanitarian aid and development agencies in Central America and Eastern Europe.

Dr. Landry has spent much of his career as a health policy and health services researcher, where his focus has been on developing forecasting methodologies specific to rehabilitation health human resources across the continuum of care. He is a proud French Canadian, hockey fan, past president of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and former career scientist at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. He lectures widely on rehabilitation across Canada, the United States, and internationally.
