Michael R. Carmont PhD

Mike Carmont is a Consultant Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgeon with a specialist interest in Sports Medicine at Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital NHS Trust. In 2017 he was awarded a PhD for his research into the outcome and evaluation of patients following Achilles tendon rupture and has an ongoing research programme in this area collaborating with research centres all over the world. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the American Journal of Sports Medicine and the Orthopaedic Journal of Sports Medicine.
