Michael C. Gao MD

Michael C. Gao, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at NYP Weill Cornell and with NYP Transformation. He oversees the clinical application of artificial intelligence technologies across the NewYork-Presbyterian Healthcare System. Dr Gao completed his B.S. in Neuroscience and in Molecular Genetics at the University of California Los Angeles, his M.D. at the University of Michigan, and his Internal Medicine internship and residency at NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell, where he was awarded the Silverman Fellowship for Healthcare Innovation. Prior to joining NewYork-Presbyterian / Weill Cornell, Dr Gao founded High Concept Designs and two nonprofits: the Michigan Student-Run Free Clinic, and Find care. Additionally, he has several publications in the fields of biomathematics and genomics.
