Michael Brady MD

Dr. Brady is a native of middle Georgia. He was born in Macon and grew up in Warner Robins. He graduated from pharmacy school at the University of Georgia and practiced pharmacy for 3 years prior to enrolling at Mercer Medical School. As a senior medical student, he was elected class president and received the Physician’s Physician Award. After graduating medical school, he completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical Center in Macon and he has been in private practice in Warner Robins since 1994. It is well known that heart disease is the number one killer of Americans. There are many contributing factors including lipids (cholesterol), diabetes and obesity. Dr. Brady underwent additional training in lipids and he is one of only a few board certified lipidologist in Georgia. He has actively treated diabetes and regularly lectures other physicians regarding diabetes treatment. He also became interested in treating obesity and obtained the assistance of a nutritionist in the formation of a weight loss clinic. The weight loss clinic was named Appearances and began in the spring of 2006. In the fall of 2007, a second office was opened in Macon and, as of the spring of 2011, over 60,000 pounds have been lost!
