Michael B. Roumeliotis PhD

Dr. Michael Roumeliotis is the Chief Executive Officer and one of the co-founders of Okolo Health. In addition to his role with Okolo Health, he is currently a Medical Physicist at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre and an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Calgary. Dr. Roumeliotis brings his extensive clinical and academic expertise in brachytherapy and medical education to guide the company toward the development of technologies that can be easily introduced into the radiotherapy workflow to improve patient care while looking to the future of radiotherapy delivery worldwide. Dr. Roumeliotis received his PhD in Medical Biophysics from Western University and completed his CAMPEP-accredited residency at the Ottawa Hospital. He is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine and the Past-President of the Association of Medical Physicists in Alberta.
