Michael Assouline

Dr. Michael Assouline has specialized in refractive surgery since 1986 in France and the United States. In 1999, he was one of the founders of the Clinique de la Vision in Paris, a pioneer of Lasik surgery in France and the leader in this field in Paris and France since the beginning.
Dr. Assouline is one of the main French actors in the development of customized laser guided by the aberrometry, the surgical compensation of presbyopia by the multifocal Lasik, and the most recent modalities of the Lasik (Intralasik / UltraLasik femtosecond). He is also one of the international pioneers of "premium" implants for cataract surgery (multifocal and accommodative for the correction of presbyopia, toric for astigmatism correction, and adjustable by light)
Dr. Assouline is since 2000, the president of the french association InCLO "Innovations in Ophthalmic Surgery and Lasers". Since 2001, Dr. Assouline has been one of the 12 international consultant-expert refractive surgeons of the Bausch & Lomb group, world leader in refractive surgery equipment. He was until 2010 editor of the professional journal "Ophthalmologies".
In 2010, Dr. Assouline founded the Center Jena Vision (Paris) grouping, within a same technical platform equipped with the most advanced technologies, specialized ophthalmologists, ensuring the consultations and the totality of the technical acts of exploration of the eye and vision.
