Dr. Michael Albus is an established Emergency Medicine provider with over sixteen years of clinical experience. Having completed medical school at Georgetown University and residency training at the University of Florida, Dr. Albus gained experience in tactical medicine as a SWAT medical provider as well as disaster medical experience with multiple deployments as a member of a federal Disaster Medical Assistance Team. Dr. Albus went on to earn a Master’s in Data Science from Northwestern University. Currently, Dr. Albus holds academic positions in the Emergency Departments of Mayo Clinic as well as the University of Florida.
After residency, Dr. Albus worked as a civilian contractor for the Navy where he championed multiple operational and educational initiatives earning awards for customer service as well as an Admiral’s Award for productivity. Since transitioning to Mayo Clinic Florida, Dr. Albus has continued to assist with initiatives to improve operations and productivity. He has also gained experience with product development and design resulting in product patenting.
With an eye to the practical application of data science, Dr. Albus continues to look for opportunities to engage across various fields for the betterment of patient care.
