Dr. Abraham received his doctor of medicine degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2005. He completed his neurology residency at the University of Kansas in 2009. Following this, he began an accelerated three-year training fellowship in Neurointerventional and Neurocritical Care at the Medical College of Wisconsin where he performed over 700 neurointerventional cases.

Dr. Abraham joined the faculty at the University of Kansas in August 2012 in the Neurology department as an assistant clinical professor. He is board certified in Neurology, Neurocritical Care and has completed a fellowship in Neurointerventional Surgery. His neurointerventional services include aneurysm coiling, intra-arterial stroke treatment, tumor embolization, AVM/AVF embolization, cerebral and spinal angiograms, WADA tests, carotid stenting/angioplasty, intracranial stenting/angioplasty, and intracranial venous stenting/angioplasty. His neurocritical care focus includes, but is not limited to, subarachnoid hemorrhages, intracranial hemorrhages, traumatic brain injury, stroke and intracranial hypertension.
