Michael A. Redlener, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and the Medical Director for Prehospital Care and Disaster Preparedness at Mount Sinai St. Luke’s and Roosevelt Hospitals. Dr. Redlener received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY. He completed a residency program in Emergency Medicine at New York University/Bellevue Hospital followed by a fellowship in Prehospital and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Medicine with the New York City Fire Department. His research and professional interests include clinical quality improvement in EMS, disaster preparedness education and hospital preparedness.
