Dr. Michael A. Mont is Chairman Orthopaedics at Cleveland Clinic Orthopaedic & Rheumatologic Institute. Prior to this post he was the Director of the Center for Joint Preservation and Replacement at the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics in Baltimore, Maryland from 2000 to 2016. He was also an Associate Professor of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Formerly, he graduated from The Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in Natural Sciences and he received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in 1984. He did his orthopaedic residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City (1984-1989) which was followed by a lower extremity fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (1989-1990).
