Meyer S. Balter MD, FCCP

Meyer S. Balter, MD, is Director of the Asthma and COPD Education Clinic at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto, Canada, and a Professor of Medicine at the University of Toronto. After receiving his medical degree from McGill University, Dr Balter completed an internship and residency in internal medicine and was Chief Medical Resident at Montreal General Hospital. This was followed by clinical and research fellowships in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Michigan Hospital. Dr Balter is currently a staff member in the Division of Respiratory Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and University Health Network. He directs one of the largest sarcoidosis clinics in Canada.
