Merranda Logan, MD, MPH, CPPS, is a nephrologist at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts General Hospital, where she is Assistant Chief Quality Officer for both the hospital and the physicians’ organization. Board-certified in internal medicine, nephrology, and patient safety, Dr. Logan is passionate about reducing medical errors by applying safety science, advancing safety cultures, and designing programs to address physician burnout.
She graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with a degree in neuroscience and received her medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine. Dr. Logan completed her residency and chief residency in internal medicine at Temple University Hospital and her nephrology training at the Brigham and Women’s/Massachusetts General Hospital combined program.
