Merel Hendrikx MSc

Merel Hendrikx, MSc, is a PhD candidate in the Precision Medicine group at Eindhoven University of Technology, where her research focuses on advancing personalized approaches to disease understanding and treatment. Her work integrates molecular biology and systems-level insights to support the development of targeted therapeutic strategies.

In addition to her doctoral research, Merel serves as Project Manager for BioTrip in Eindhoven, where she contributes to initiatives that connect students, researchers, and industry in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Health from Wageningen University, followed by a Research Master’s in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease from Radboud University Medical Center. This interdisciplinary training has provided her with a strong foundation in human health, disease biology, and translational research.
