Dr. Meltem Zeytinoglu is an Executive Medical Director at the Eli Lilly and Company. Dr. Zeytinoglu’s clinical practice and teaching emphasize the management and prevention of endocrine disorders, including diabetes, osteoporosis, and obesity, in older adults. Individuals’ risk of acquiring these conditions rises substantially with aging, and older adults represent the largest demographic with these diseases. Dr. Zeytinoglu’s research interests are focused on helping to improve this gap. Dr. Zeytinoglu also has a particular interest in health policy and in improving healthcare delivery systems and coordination of care between providers.
