Dr. Melissa Tribble received her Bachelors of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology in 2002 and her Doctorate of Audiology degree from Kent State University as part of the Northeast Ohio AuD Consortium (NOAC). As part of her clinical training, she also completed a 1 year traineeship through the Family Child Learning Center in Tallmadge, Ohio which focused on providing early intervention services to children from birth to 3 years of age, who are deaf and hard of hearing. Dr. Melissa Tribble joined the pediatric audiology team at Stanford Children’s Health in 2007.
Dr. Tribble is a licensed dispensing audiologist and has been an active clinical educator for audiology students since joining the pediatric audiology team in 2007. She was on the board of directors for the California Academy of Audiology between 2009 and 2016. She was also the lead audiologist for the cleft and craniofacial team at Stanford Children’s Health between 2007 and 2017. Dr. Tribble became manager to the pediatric audiology department in 2016.
Dr. Melissa Tribble takes pride in providing family centered care and has expertise in performing comprehensive developmentally appropriate assessments of the auditory system including ABR/ASSR. Additionally, she has expertise with the pediatric population in the selection, fitting and verification of state-of-the-art hearing aids and assistive listening devices. Dr. Tribble provides a full range of services to cochlear implant candidates and recipients, including the programming of all FDA approved manufacturers of cochlear implants.
