Melissa Teixeira

Melissa Ribeiro Teixeira Graduated in Occupational Therapy from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (2002). Her Master's (2015) and Doctorate (2019) in Mental Health from the Institute of Psychiatry at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - IPUB/UFRJ, with a sandwich doctorate at the University of Montreal (Quebec/Canada). She is an Adjunct Professor at the Department of Occupational Therapy at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (DPTO/ FM/ UFRJ). She is a Member of the Center for Research in Public Mental Health Policies at the Institute of Psychiatry of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (NUPPSAM/IPUB/UFRJ) and of the Laboratory of Studies and Actions in Occupational Therapy, activity, daily life, care, and human rights in childhood and youth (ACCALANTO/ USP).
